ok, got her account back, still no real idea on how they got in though

anyway, no apparent VAC bans etc, so all is good

I'm assuming everyone but me knew about the "validate Email" option in Steam settions? If you didn't, go do it now!

I had no idea about this until I went to log a support ticket for a failed purchase. I saw the link, and clicked away!

I agree - go do it ASAP, you're unlikely to notice it till you need the feature!
