Since the vote produced some clear winners I will build the timetable for this weekend around those ...
The clear winner was of course Battlefield 2 and so we will play this as our main tournament, since we will probably not have sufficient participants to make up many teams we will run this as an extension of the big games, but with with some serious honour at stake
Since many people will not have arrived by Friday evening and some may leave before the end of the event we will endeavour to cram as many games as possible into the Saturday and leave as much of the rest as free time for people to organise whatever they feel like playing.
Every couple of hours the shout will go up of what we will be playing and when we will be playing it ... keep an ear out ... you shouldn't miss the announcements this time ... I have a way of making myself noticeable
We will possibly play some Special Forces but since we are playing BF2 for a large chunk of Saturday that will be put on the back burner, and those who are CSers will be pleased to see that it will feature this weekend.
Friday night ...
Quake 4 ... some dark and dingy boucy fragging
On Saturday you can expect to see some ...
12midday - Battlefield 1942 ... old skool
2PM - Armagedtron Advanced ... old LAN favourite (download from the FTP)
4PM - Battlefield 2 [tournament] ... for the honour of your team!
8PM - Counter Strike : Source ... because you couldn't have a LAN without it
10PM - Half Life 2 : Team Deathmatch ... the natural follow on from CS, get twatted round the head with a toilet!
at this point we'll have a go at some big screen fun and see what we can play (possibly Trackmania Nations ... on joy pads to make it more interesting )
Sunday will be a day of bouncy fragging ...
12midday - UT2004 ... some bouncy action deathmatch
2PM - Quake 3 ... a classic but still great
