Hello... just thought i'd post this there so that i can get some sympathy lol jokes....
anyway, i had bought a new case for my comp so i was moving everthing from my old case to it... now, when i start my comp it says the CPU is unworkable or changed... aparrently its happend to loads of people.. the mobo is the Abit IC7-Max3.... so now i have to buy a new mobo... thats all bad but what makes it worse is that my current graphics card is AGP and all of the new mobos only support PCI-E and i dont have enough money to get both a new graphics card and a new mobo so im stuck... looks like i need to buy a new mobo then!!

My mobo has died!!
If you're coming to the LAN, I have an MSI 875P Neo2 FISR you can buy off me. Its missing its heatsink retention bracket so you'll have to use the heatsink thats on the board at the moment but otherwise its fine

I've had that error when the default BIOS settings are not suitable/incorrect for the CPU or it has not been auto-detected correctly. Try going into the BIOS and setting the correct CPU speed/multipliers etc..and dont forget the bus speed.
Then again you've probably all ready tryied that so i'll keep quiet
