...ice skating?
I've never been and would like to learn, so I can add it to my list of hobbies.
Any takers?

The ice rink at Gillingham is the best one I know of.
Plus, their skates are decent.
And tis quite cheap.
From what I remember last time I went.

I don't know of any other places.
Ermmm...
But yeh, I'd assume that's the bestest place to go.
Ice skating = totally legendary days out!
Now I'm off to go and dizzy-walk around my house and laugh at my brother for listening to crap music.

Yeah, I was thinking about the rink on the gillingham business park.
Sorry for delay in replying, had to wait for a new mobo to arrive, and then of course do a reinstall of smelly windows, cos it can't handle hardware replacements =S.
Almost finished reinstalling everything, so soon back to full power.
But yeah, if anyone is interested, I was thinking about Sundays, as I work every other evening.
Of course, that's if it's open on sundays.

Was just looking at the website for said ice skatering place and found:
MAJOR Investment planned!
The rink will undergo a huge investment
project in June and will therefore be CLOSED
to the public from 10.30pm June 10th until
10.30am Monday 18th June 2007.
Sunday: Daytime 10.00am to 4.00pm £5.50
Evening 8.00pm to 10.30pm £5.50
Thought that might be useful.

Sweet.
May as well wait until at least July then before planning anything. Actually, what we could do is plan a day/evening out at LL8, where it'll be easier to discuss things in person.
Gives us all a bit of time to get in shape =P

Right then, as LL8 is just around the corner, who's interested in going ice skating?
Not during LL8 of course, that would be silly =P
I'd like to get a general list of peeps and peepettes interested, so I have an idea of numbers.

If it's the Gillingham Ice Rink then I'm almost certainly in for it as long as I don't have a prior engagement.
